My friend Carol, I did not know Melissa personally but I feel like I do from your stories. You were so proud of her and her achievements. Your family is your world and I can't begin to imagine this loss. My deepest condolences to you, Jim, Justine, Brooks, Jason, and your beautiful grandchildren whom she was a wonderful Aunt to. I am so very sorry to hear about Melissa’s passing. She was such a bright light and an incredible person. I have so many fond memories of swimming with her and our life guarding days at Nay Aug. So many memories of swim team parties and sleep overs at the Boettger’s. In every memory I have Melissa has the biggest smile. Sending all my sympathy and love to all of her family and friends.
