What I remember most vividly about Richard, besides his very strong Catholic faith, was his indomitable
spirit. Despite the obvious physical problems I would see him taking long walks around our
neighborhood, either alone or with Karen at his side. It always inspired me and my
father who was suffering from cancer himself. It was a stirring reminder never to give
up or give in to pain and disease. Richard's courage was on display for all to see and
we shall never forget it. His funeral Mass was as reverent and holy as any I have attended.
Let us remember to pray for his soul and all the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

My sincere condolences to the Bord family and close friends of Richard; I fondly remember him many years ago when Beth and Chris were engaged and later married… He was always a gentleman and struck me as very peaceful.. May God rest his soul.
