I was so saddened to hear of Mickey's passing. She was a real lady everyone could look up to. She never forgot to call us on Veteran's Day to thank my husband for his service. I looked forward to her call and will miss hearing her voice and always asking about our 'kiddos'. Mickey had a heart of gold. Please accept my family's deepest sympathy at the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Anna Margaret was a person who I dearly loved, and admired. She was a person full of zest, confidence, and warmth! She was constantly involved in the community. Her vibrancy and dedication was incredible! The light of God always radiated throughout her. Miss you Anna Margaret, but Thankful that you're now in God's Loving Arms!
Love,
Robin & Bruce Irwin

It is with great sadness that we just learned about Mickey's passing. She was a true friend to Evelyn and I, and a kind and patient mentor to a big city cop learning about the country. We will miss the cards that always came every St. Patrick's Day.
It would take hours to explain the input Mickey had on law enforcement in Ferguson Township. She never interfered but always provided invaluable insight to ensure we were fair and just. No one may every know the full extent of how her knowledge of the people and community of Ferguson Township benefited from her influence.
My stories about Mickey are countless but one of my favorites is how she was explaining to me why all of the sheep and just about everything else on the farm except the tractor had a green smear on its back the time a sheep was stolen, and the ram got loose. I told her, "If that damn thing starts looking at me funny I'm going to shoot him". I don't think I ever saw her laugh so hard.
Central Pennsylvania has suffered a tremendous loss, but Mickey's legacy will never die.
Our sincere condolences,
Ed & Evelyn Connor

Mickey was a wonderful lady and a good friend. Her and her family was so supportive over the years, either through Four H or through my years as a police officer. We had many a laugh together and shed a few tears together. Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.

My deepest sympathies to the Peters family. A more kind and encouraging person you will never find; Mickey's passing will leave a void in many lives. It has been my privilege to have known and worked with her over the last 30 years.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Aunt Mickey was a 4-H mom to hundreds. We are all proud to be one of her kiddos. I’m so blessed that both of my girls got to experience Mickey in their lives because I know how much of an impact she has on people. I will forever miss my yearly hug when we would unload cattle at the fair. She will forever be in our hearts.

Thoughts and prayers of sympathy to the Peters family. My family was blessed to be part of the many of Aunt Mickey's kiddos. After being told about some allergies we had, she always made sure we had our same stall area in the beef barn at the Grange Fair every year. She never was too busy, even when going between the livestock office and the arena to take a minute to ask how we were doing. After Brian's passing, she always made sure to stop and talk with me to see how the boys and I were doing and she always left me with a "hang in there kiddo, you can do this". She will be missed dearly. Hugs and prayers and a big thank you to all of her family who shared her with so many of us "kiddos".

"Ma" Peters was a huge part of our college experience. She always welcomed all of Bill's college friends to "hang out" in their basement or enjoy great sledding parties! She provided a safe haven for many great college memories. Sam and I will be forever grateful for the friendship of Ma and Pa Peters.
