The world was a better place because Pat was in it. So glad she was a part of my life. So many things I loved about Pat. I loved her laughter and smiling. She was always so glad to see you. I loved it when she first saw you she would burst out and say how glad she was to see you. Oh yeah... she never hid her feelings... I loved that about her. She could make you feel better in the worst of times and always had time for you.... I loved that about her. I loved that she was always up for anything. She would grab her purse and say "let's go." I loved that about her. I loved her loyalty too.... she would defend you and have your back. Pat loved to eat out .... and we did that a lot... She didn't care where.. again never picky.. she was ready and so was I. I will never look at elephants in the same way... Pat loved them and had lots of them around (not the real ones though). I will always hang onto all the wonderful adventures we went on. I know Pat is somewhere over the rainbow... and I love her for that. Rest in peace my dear friend always and forever. Heaven now is a better place because she is there. Knowing Pat she will probably ask for blue wings.... her favorite color.

My deepest sympathies to LeeAnn, Jim, Sherene and the boys. I never knew what a real family gathering was until I married into the Mark family and experienced the ones with Pat & Jack. Christmas and Memorial Day gatherings were full of fun, food and love. Pat made sure everyone got attention and felt included and special. The same hospitality and love was shown to all when you stopped in at the Hess’s Grange Fair tent. We have lost a soul who was deeply dedicated to her Lord; family and friends; as well as those in need. I am glad for her rest in Jesus, but ache knowing we will be without her presence here. God Bless
