Dear Cinny and family
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Lee. I was a fraternity brother of Lee’s. I also worked at Geisinger for many years and my relationship with Lee continued beyond our Penn State days. Lee and I worked on so many Geisinger projects together, too many to count. I’ve been retired now for 9 years but I sent notice to my former staff members who are still working to inform them of Lee’s passing. I received an email from the member of my staff who I had assigned to the Grays Woods phase 2 project. He relayed a meeting that he, Lee, and I had together in my office to discuss the project. I was called out for a moment leaving the two of them alone together. He told me how nervous he was being alone with Lee until he realized through the discussion that Lee was just a regular guy. That’s exactly what Lee was. It didn’t matter who you were or what level in the Geisinger organization you were you were always treated with respect. So many good memories. Lee was a great friend, colleague, and brother.

Dear Cindy and family,
I was so very sorry to read about the passing of Lee. I worked with him a number of years ago on activities with Geisinger and the HPA department. I so respected his knowledge, dedication to communities and patients, and his sense of humor. Please know that my thoughts are with you during what I am sure is a very difficult time.
Warmest regards,
Lisa Davis

Our condolences to Lee’s family for their profound loss and to all those whom he touched during his too short life. He was a major force in the formation and subsequent development of the Geisinger Western Region as it now exists and in the process, was uniformly honest, fair and kind to all. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to have known him.

So sorry to hear of Lee's passing. He was a wonderful caring man, a dedicated professional who never hesitated to go the extra mile to see that things were done well. He was a tremendous help to us when we started working at Geisinger in State College over 30 years ago and has been missed since his retirement. May he rest in peace.

Sending condolences to Cinny and family during this difficult time.
Luke and I will always remember our adventures with Lee at the lake or kayaking or golfing. He had us laughing at every turn with a funny comeback. Whenever we hear an Allman Brothers song on the radio we will think of Lee and smile, sing along and enjoy the memories.

Dear Cinny, Greg, Jessica, & Wes,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. Lee was a major influence in my professional life. I count him as my mentor and quote him frequently in my work with Master of Health Administration students at Penn State. Lee is always mentioned when I tell the story of my transition from social work in health care to administration and leadership. It is directly linked to Lee and his encouragement and support.
He spoke frequently about his love of each of you and offered great advice when I was newly married, and later a new mom. He continues to serve as a reminder for me that no matter how passionate we are about our work, we must never lose sight of the people we love at home.
Lee embodied leadership in healthcare in my career and helped me learn that laughter is a balm as we do the hard work. I still laugh with memories of my time working with him at Geisinger.
I am holding each of you in my heart. May Lee's memory be a blessing to all who loved him.
In sympathy, Aileen Schulman Galley

The world is bit dimmer without Lee's larger than life presence. I will always remember his advice both professionally and personally..pointing me in the right direction over the many years I was honored to work with him, know him and become a friend.
May the warm memories comfort his family now and over time.
Rest in peace Lee!
Always,
Kathy Lloyd
