We are so sorry for you loss. I had been out of town and only wish I could have been there last week. Denny was such a great man. Our memories of him are warm, caring and happy. He guided me through my State College teaching experience, always with a smile and good solid information. Most importantly Both Dennis and I enjoyed seeing him on the sports scene and the family scene! What a wonderful family guy he was. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. His spirit will be there to guide all in some way--I believe this. Our strength and wishes are continuing your way. thoughtful wishes, Dennis and Marcia Heitzmann

We were so sorry to hear of Denny's passing. My father was Walt Fletcher, Anna Mae's brother, and although we had not seen a lot of him in recent years, we did have a chance to have a nice visit with Denny when Anna Mae passed away. We are thinking of you all and praying that you will have peace and strength in the coming days.

Growing up in Oil City, my family and Denny's family spent lots of time together. We looked up to Denny as one of the "big guys" and I remember him as always good-natured, always smiling, and surely a good example for us younger cousins to follow. I hope and pray that, in time, the memory of the smiles will help chase away the sadness for everyone who was close to him.

Dear Maureen & family, Was stunned to hear of Denny's passing. I had the privilege of working with him before I retired from SCASD in 2005. Also enjoyed his enthusiasm at Kelsey's Little Lady Lions Girls Basketball games and seeing him around the community. My family and I are thinking of/praying for you all at this difficult time. Sincerely, Pauline Fogelsanger

We are so,so sorry to hear of Denny's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are extended with all sincerity. Denny guided me through my hiring with the school district, was always available for help and guidance with a smile and good humor. He made my Dad laugh when they shared moments at board meetings, was always such a wonderful presence at field hockey, baseball and basketball games as his children and ours grew up. I will remember most, how very proud he was of all of his children. His face literally lit up when he spoke of them. God Bless. With all sincerity and respect, Carol and Steve Grim

Greetings Maureen and family, you are in our prayers as you now have to continue your journey in this life without someone you love very much. May you be comforted by the many lives Denny touched in his years of service in this community. He is only physically gone but he lives on in your hearts and minds and daily actions always. He is only as far away as those memories you created with him. Be not afraid - you do not walking alone. Praise God for the time you did have and trust God will always provide what you need just when you need it. He will certainly be missed by all of us. Blessings always
