My deepest sympathy to Herb's family. Herb was one of the most giving and friendly people I've ever known. He was my Sunday school teacher at St. Peter's UCC and dressed up as Santa Claus at the church Christmas party. He and my dad were part of a group of men who deer hunted every year. His family tents at the Grange Fair near a cousin's tent and I usually saw him there on my infrequent visits to the fair after I moved away. He was the same guy from my childhood, laughing, smiling, and spreading good cheer. RIP dear Herb. You will be missed.
