I loved Mrs. Detailer. She was my first softball coach along with being the mom of a basketball teammate. She was kind, but we knew not to mess around at practice. I'm sorry for your loss Wayne, Anne, and Keith. Your mom impacted many.

To Wayne, Ann, Keith, and family. I remember when we were kids (Ergler kids) we went to play at the Detwiler's home from time to time, it was always so fun. We knew we were always welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Detwiler. I am so sorry for your loss.

Math was always my pitfall, but Mrs Detwiler was always so passionate about teaching and always patient with students like me. God bless you and sending love and light to her family and friends

Dear Detwiler Family: I wish to relay my sorrow and my sincerest sympathy in learning of Kathy's passing. I have known Kathy for over 40 years and what a sweet, caring lady. Kathy and I had known each other by my initial work with Wayne, Jr. and Keith on their journey to West Point. Continuing forward, we worked together on Congressmen Clinger, Peterson, and Thompson Academy Advisory Boards. Kathy was the most dedicated and loyal board member and always had the most valuable input in the nominating process as we sent many talented young men and women to the Military Service Academies and who subsequently served our nation with great honor. I will miss Kathy greatly as she was a wonderful friend and mentor to me. Again my sincerest condolences as we have lost another one of the greatest generations. May all the wonderful memories bring you peace and comfort. Susan Gurekovich
