I was saddened to read of Jane's passing. I worked with her at University Book Center for several years. As a fellow Thomas Hardy fan, I smiled when I read that he was her favorite author. Jane was the kindest, most caring person I have ever known.She was alway there to listen to a friend or offer support when needed. Always! She always put the feelings of others above her own and was a great, great friend. Her impact on the lives of those who knew her was gentle but unforgetable. The world is not quite as bright without her. I hope the feelings and memories of those who knew Jane are a comfort to her family.
