Obituary of Joseph Louis Wiker

Joseph Louis Wiker, 89, of State College, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at home.

Born December 11, 1933, in Monessen, he was the son of the late John S. and Marie Potterie Wiker.

He is survived by three children, Ivan Wiker and his wife Tami of Oakley, CA, J. Ephriam Wiker of Folsom, CA, and Wendy Wiker and her significant other Terry McClellan of Spring Mills; two sisters, June Abernethy and Katherine L. Caputo; two grandchildren, Vincent Louis and Emma Ann Wiker; a great-grandson, Roman Daniel Wiker, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Wiker.

Joseph graduated from Monessen High School and studied at Potomac State College. He served in the United States Navy. Joseph was employed as a Wildlife Conservation Officer.
