Obituary of Cecil H. Tickamyer

Cecil H. Tickamyer, 76, of State College, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born September 23, 1946, in Kansas City, KS, he was the son of the late Cecil H. and Sevilla Alice Peebles Tickamyer. On December 13, 1968 he married Ann R. Friedman. He is survived by his wife, Ann R. Tickamyer, sisters-in-law Miriam Friedman and Judith Friedman, brother-in-law Alessandro Caratelli, and nephews David and Daniele Caratelli.

He graduated from Carleton College with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science from the University of Maryland.

Cecil was retired from academic computer support.

Cecil was an avid whitewater canoeist and Scottish Country dancer.
