Obituary of Stanley "Stan" William Kotulka
Stanley "Stan" William Kotulka, 74, of Spring Mills, entered into glory on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at his daughter's residence in Bellwood, PA. Born June 28, 1949, in Sellersville, he was the son of the late William and the late Ann Todorow Kotulka. He is also the brother of the late Thomas A. Kotulka. On September 2, 1972, he married Teresa Nichols, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Hayley A. Johnson and her husband, Eric, of Bellwood, PA, Brandon A. Kotulka and his wife, Robin, of Seattle, WA, Karli K. Foster and her husband, Chris, of San Pedro, CA; two siblings, Robert S. Kotulka of North Wales and Donna Gerhart of Quakertown; eight grandchildren, Elliott, Henry, Carter, Quinn, Lela, Alex, Rory and Vayda.
Stan was a 1967 graduate of North Penn High School, Landsdale. He received a Bachelor's degree in 1971 from Penn State University in Business Administration. During his time at Penn State he was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He worked at various sales jobs throughout his career and enjoyed helping people plan for retirement while working at Penn State. Stan was a 40-year member of the State College Alliance Church. More recently he was a member of the Faith Alive Fellowship Church in Spring Mills. He served as a Treasurer and Deacon and sang in the choir at the former.
Stan was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions fan. He was also a car and motorcycle enthusiast, involved in sports car clubs, owning multiple Harleys, transporting cars for local dealerships, and driving the local Amish community. Stan was a genuine soul. He loved the Lord and he loved people. He had the gift of gab, and there wasn't a stranger in the world who couldn't be his friend. His biggest success in life was his children. He couldn't be more proud and had no problem telling perfect strangers how successful his kids were. He was equally as proud of the spouses they chose. But his true love was Teresa, Married over 50 years, they experienced so much and endured the ups and downs of life together, with Christ as their cornerstone.
