Dear Heidi,
I'm so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. She was one of the foundations of the Palmer Museum of Art, and so helpful when I first arrived to join the staff. Even though she had officially "retired" by then, her continued presence at the museum ensured that things ran smoothly. She really made us all feel like family. My condolences to you and all of her family.

Dear Heidi -
Jeanne and I were very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We hadn't been in touch in recent years, but we will always remember Barbara as a good friend in the days when I was on the staff at the Palmer Museum of Art. Her abilities as an administrator were truly remarkable as was her ease in dealing with people at all levels. We are sorry that we won't be able to attend her funeral service on Tuesday.
We send our deepest sympathy.
Richard Porter
