I had the pleasure of getting to know Chuck during 2017-2018 as an exchange student in State College where I was hosted by his daughter Christy Long and her husband. I remember Chuck as being a very calm and kind man, and during my stay he and his wife Joyce became part of an extended family. I was very saddened to hear about his sudden passing and I am relieved to know that it was peaceful and that he was surrounded by family. Here in Sweden, Chuck is in our thoughts and we send our deepest condolences to Joyce and Christy ❤️.
