Uncle Emory and Aunt BA hosted many a Penn State Homecoming weekend for myself and fellow fraternity brothers. They always took an interest in what was going on in our lives and we had many Penn State football conversations around the continuous fire in the fireplace. The door was indeed always open. I was fortunate to attend Unc’s 102nd birthday party this past summer and was amazed by the turnout. He was the life of the party at 102. He truly loved everyone and will be missed by everyone.
