To the Moyer Family,
We who were friends or colleagues of Ralph feel a real loss in his passing. Much could be said about all that he did in his career to pave the way for others to succeed in the world of education. To paraphrase a great Presidential speech at Gettysburg . . . . the world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but we who knew Ralph will never forget what he did here. Farewell Dear Friend

To the Moyer family,
Ralph aka "The Silver Fox" was an inspiration to many of us in school business. I am honored to know him as a colleague and call him a friend. His passing makes me sad as there will never be another Ralph Moyer. The children of Pennsylvania's public schools were enriched because Ralph always found ways for schools statewide to devote more of their resources to benefit students.
