Marjorie and family,
I am saddened to hear of Fielder's passing. I can scarcely recall a conversation with my dad that didn't include some humorous story about his friends and neighbors. You and Fielder figured prominently and were held in the highest esteem. Fielder will be sorely missed. My family will keep you all in our prayers.

Dear Marjorie, Scott and the entire Newton family,
I am so, so sorry for your loss. May your pain and sadness be outweighed by all the positives that Fielder brought to this world. What a blessing to have such a kind man in your lives for so long. He spoke so well of all of you that I feel like I know you. I will always remember the many afternoons I spent with him at the All-Sports Museum. Everyone there looked forward to working with him. He was as great a listener as he was a conversationalist. One of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. May he rest in peace for his was a life well-lived.
With much love and admiration,
Gwen Kaufman Nese
Fielder was one of the nicest men I have ever met and a genuine war hero; a great volunteer at the All-Sports Museum and my Theta Delta Chi fraternity brother. You will be missed, Fielder. RIP.
In the bonds,
