Rest in peace Grandma. I'll always remember your scrapple breakfast and you trying to scrub my birthmark off of my left cheek.

Dear Jean, Tom,
Donnie, and family,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a fun lady. She was an excellent cook and I always looked forward to visiting with her at the farm.

Tom, Jean and Donnie, I will miss your Mom and our phone calls and the friendship and love she always showed me. She called and comforted me when my Mom died, she always had the words I needed to hear. She was my "other" Mother! That's the way she always signed her cards and letters to me! I truly loved her that way. I understand your grief and my heart hurts for all of you. I am sorry I was away and didn't know until 2/26. I would love to have been there to honor her life. Many thanks to you Donnie for letting me know. God Bless You All!

Sending condolences to Betty's, Nana's, family and friends brings back so many memories of her. As my mother-in-law she taught me about canning and freezing, and appreciating her life as a farmer's wife. She baked the highest pies and the best golden raisin-filled cookies.
For my daughter, Stacia Louise, she was a kind and attentive grandmother keeping her overnight many times when small and when she was older, taking her camping with Pap-Pap. For Stacia, the time spent with them was special and important to her.
We tell Pierson Charles McCallum, her great-grandson, all the stories so both her memory and Pap-Pap's will live on.
No matter how long someone has lived, it is always sad when they leave. She was a great lady.
Love, Carolyn Ford

My brother and I have so many fond memories. Grandma Grubab made the best spaghetti in the world. Her carpets smelled of beautiful perfume, which made sliding down the stairs in her "slippery" night gowns so much more enjoyable! The basement frig always had birch bark beer and fudge. She captivated us with her stories and we will never forget them.

Jean, Tom, Donny, and your families, It is with a heavy heart I read your Mom's obituary this morning. I have many fond memories of your Mom as we grew up. She was such a beautiful and classy lady. I hope your memories will bring you smiles and joy. I ask God to give you strength and comfort you with his peace in the coming days. I am recovering from shoulder surgery and will not be able to attend the service but I will be thinking of you.

My condolences to the whole family. I remember many, many years ago of suggesting to Betty, who was suffering from a cold, that she should try some brandy with honey. She asked if this would help, and I replied if it didn't help the cold, she would at least sleep easier. May God bless you all.

Hi Donny & Carol.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of Betty. She was certainly my best friend here at Elmcroft. My heart aches for you. If you find the stitchery I did for her, I would appreciate it if you would let me have it. It will remind me that she still lives in my heart.
Thanks, Love, Mary Harrison (mharrison3@comcast.net)
