Obituary of Bernice L. Dills
Bernice Hardy Dills, 78, of State College, died on Friday, March 13, 2015 at her home.
Born on October 22, 1936 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Clair G. and Edna B. Rowles Hardy.
She was married to Lloyd L. Dills who preceded her in death on Dec. 28 1995.
Bernice is survived by two sons, Richard and his wife, Leslie and Charles and his wife, Patty, both of Port Matilda; one daughter, Sandra Way of Centre Hall; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters and two brothers. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
After working thirty years in retail, she retired from The Bon Ton in November of 2001.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the funeral home with the Reverend Gene McCallips officiating.
Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 501 Howard Ave., Building D, Suite 101, Altoona, PA 16601.
