Dr. Royer was a member of my Ph.D. dissertation committee at CWRU in 1973. He was a fine man and an excellent mentor. Even though we eventually lost touch, I have often thought of him fondly during the past 40 years. He was someone who made a real difference in my life. I hope he's in a better place.
