I was fortunate to have Dr. Remick as my advisor as an undergraduate in Nuclear Engineering in the 70’s. It was amazing that he was advising students with his high level of administrative responsibility. I can still remember walking to his office in Old Main to meet with him. I was also fortunate to come to call him a colleague after I returned to Penn State in the 80’s to join the faculty of Mechanical Engineering. One of the last times that I saw him was at an Atherton Society Dinner. I was so happy that the photographer captured a picture of Forrest, Soon, and me (posted below).
